Scott is a licensed attorney, recently retired from the State of Ohio with 37 years of service. He was a prosecutor for the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s office and the Ohio Attorney General’s office, and primarily tried cases involving child abuse. He served as the assistant director of the abuse unit for the Franklin County Prosecutor for six years and was the first full-time cyber prosecutor for the Ohio Attorney General’s office, beginning in 2001.
Most recently, he was a Deputy Inspector General, investigating state employees and agencies for fraud and illegal conduct. He has been a national/international cybercrime instructor for the US Secret Service and the United States State Department, Anti-Terrorism Assistance since 2005.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys photography and other creative outlets. He almost always has a home improvement project underway and enjoys taking care of his yard, plants and cars.
